Hostgator Review by classixuk – Almost a year in

Well, I have been with HostGator for almost a year now, and I guess it will soon be time for me to decide if I am going to renew my services with them.

It won’t take me long. The answer will be yes.

I moved to HostGator after trying 2 or 3 “We do everything for $2.99 per month” type of hosting companies. With the first company my site was down more than it was up and the technical support was horrendous. With the second company, the customer service was really friendly but the server would constantly be “offline for upgrades”, or because of a DoS attack (according to their technicians).
In the end, my website users were beginning to get majorly pissed off.
Since I moved, and for the past year, my site has been available at any time of the day for my website visitors. When I have needed immediate technical assistance, I have used the live chat function here on the site and got an answer immediately (none of that waiting 24 hours for a reply to a ticket nonsense).
