Hostgator Review by brandon206 – Lovin it so far!

In the few weeks I’ve been with HostGator, it’s been great. My old host had some serious issues with the SQL server and connection to my php sites, but HG seems to be superior in that aspect. And every ticket I’ve opened were responded to within 2 hours… some within MINUTES! Fantastico is a wicked tool to install the newest CMS with zero technical knowledge required!

Another AWESOME feature was the site transfer. I had 30gb of files to transfer, which would have been a week or more of work, but you guys did it in 2 days.

Fast transfer speeds.
AMAZINGLY fast service when a help ticket is issued.

Seems like I’ve found my host.

Only one TEEEEEENIE little issue: HG doesn’t seem to keep Fantastico up to date with the most current releases of CMS. Example is when Wordpress came out with 2.6.1… 2.6 is loaded, which works, but 2.6.1 fixes some big bugs and I wanted to just do clean installs of 2.6.1. No biggie… I just copied the new files over, but I just wanted to put that out there.
