Reviewed on November 30th, 2008 Find moreWell, I have had many Negative Reviews due to major frustration in getting things done. But now is the time for a bit of Praise.
I had an issue with my site overnight and so far I have not been to sleep and been getting my site fixed, I have been going all night long. And I needed to have up to 5 backups on the server at one time during this process, so I submitted a ticket with a request to see if I would be permitted to do this. And I was.
My site is now just about back to normal, well better then normal, and I want to thank HG for all there help and support during these tough times. We are still working through an issue, but I must say for some reason that issue isn’t occuring anywhere near as much as it was.
So to Nate C, Douglas, David Na, I say a huge thank you for your assistance and helping me sort out the issues I have been having. I know I have been very frustrated at these issues, and you all did understand the reasoning behind it and were very patient with me and I thank you for that.I no longer feel there is any need to leave HG, I think I am beginning to fall in
And one final note, to everyone that helped me out I send you a great big

Reviewed on November 28th, 2008 Find moreI’ve been with HG for just over a year. I started off on a shared plan and about 6 months ago moved to a dedicated server.
I have found HG to have unbelievably quick and knowledgable support staff. The move to the dedicated server was quite a big leap but HG has made it very smooth.

Reviewed on November 27th, 2008 Find moreI’ve been switching hosts for a couple of times in the past until my websites and still presently are now hosted on hostgator. During this 9 months (and couple of days) i have got to say i am quite impress in where areas for a user concerns are replied quickly and where a question are rapidly answered within 10 to 20mins, and as well going that extra mile if not ask too.
Those hostgator staff who have assisted me being it on different time zone, i hope they are still there whilst my website are hosted with them and i have no doubt beyond presently 9 months I will have many more months and years be hosted with hostgator.

Reviewed on November 27th, 2008 Find moreI just want to say that I am very impressed with Hostgator’s support team and service. I have been with Hostgator for over a year now, and I’ve received nothing but the best in support and very good reliability.
Installing server modules, opening firewall ports, you name it. Some of the requests I send in I even think to myself “oh, they probably won’t do this” — but they end up doing anyway! The service has been prompt and helpful and is overall stellar, especially considering I’m on a shared plan!
Great work so far! Keep it up!

Reviewed on November 23rd, 2008 Find moreI drifted around for years looking for a decent hosting company, some advertised fantastic service and support and only after parting with money the service kept dropping and support did not exist to any great effort.
Pricing was the same as hostgator and by accident came across hostgatar on a web site that I cant even remember now. I expected if i got a good year, I was lucky.
Now since drifting into Hostgater 3 years ago I have used most facilities including the ticket, live chat and email to ask questions and for the rare time i needed support.
What does impress me is the guys at hostgatar really want to help and if they cannot provide a instant solution will make efforts to put you in the right direction unlike many hosting companies.
Billing can not be any easyer, and for what you get is very competative, plus a nice range of packages to suit all demands. (ive been baby gatar for 3 years) Of course you get the same level of service from support as if you where renting 20 dedicated servers, impressive eh.
Yes you get some that will hog and make massive demands of CPU with all sorts of programs running, but give Gatar credit they do stomp on them to make sure we all have our sites running fast.
Ok, three years on Im very happy and dont consider moving for the next 10 years.

Reviewed on November 22nd, 2008 Find moreI ordered the cheapest HostGator plan last night, and I must say, it is amazing. I used to be with Servage, and pages would take 6-8 seconds to load. I installed WordPress via Fantastico and it loads in about 1-2 seconds. CPanel is nice (Servage had a really ugly control panel). It looks like you guys are a great host, I look foward to many more months/years of HostGator hosting.
