Reviewed on August 31st, 2007 Find moreI cannot belive the amount of support i have been given by the tech guys and the online livechat guys For the last 24 hours our website was being hacked and the tech guys done all they could to stop it, Im sure i was a real pain in the butt over the last 24 hours but these guys were so proffesional, they all deserve a big pay rise. I have really come to respect the Host Gator guys and will always host with them. So thank you all that help to stop this hacker and im real sorry for being a pain, I will always recomend Host Gator to other webmasters and I am gonna keep the Host Gator sig on the gfy board..Thank you

Hostgator To anyone running a Cpanel Demo Account on their server..
Reviewed on August 31st, 2007 Find moreIt has come to our attention that several users’ Cpanel demo accounts have recently been used for rather nefarious purposes. People are using these demo accounts to upload DDOS utilities, port scanners, and other hacker tools so that they can access them later to perform various atacks. This was found to be causing some of the recent uptime issues with Jeep as well.

The uptime is beyond satisfactory, the support is always prompt and curteous, and the features are some of the best out there. When I needed support I could get it. (even at 2am) I switched once from host gator and found out it was a mistake. My 6 sites are always up, quick upload and download speeds, amazing support, and great prices. I would recommend host gator to anyone. Host Gator.

Reviewed on August 26th, 2007 Find moreI have been with HostGator for almost two years after a bad experience with my first hosting company. For the most part, I like HostGator. And for the most part, support has been good.
However, I find that more and more mistakes are made that should not be made. I know a lot about computers and the internet, however, I am still learning about UNIX servers. So my service is managed since I am not yet comfortable managing it myself.
I don’t expect support people to be perfect. I used to do customer phone support, so I know how it goes. But I expect the support people to be careful and not make “stupid” mistakes.
