Reviewed on May 30th, 2006 Find moreI would just like to say that I am very pleased with the degree of service and support Hostgator provides their customers.
We have been hosted by Hostgator for about nine months now, and we have never had any serious downtime issues because of the server itself and any of our questions and problems are usually handled very promptly and thoroughly.
Also, I wanted to mention that when our data was erased by some strange occurrance that I have not fully figured out yet, Hostgator was there to restore it right up for us. We were pretty worried that it was going to get overwritten by their weekly backups (we were scrambing on a Saturday night to get everything going and their backups run Sunday morning), but Hostgator was there to get it done just in time and it saved us from doing a LOT of work over again!

Template Monster, Hostgator Team Up
Reviewed on May 24th, 2006 Find moreWeb site template provider Template Monster (templatemonster.com) announced on Tuesday it has partnered with Web hosting provider Hostgator (hostgator.com) to provide Hostgator resellers with Web site templates.
All Hostgator resellers will be offered five special templates integrated with affiliate shops of Template Monster. Using these templates, Hostgator resellers can resell hosting services from Hostgator as well as Web templates from Template Monster. The partnership will enable Hostgator affiliates to offer their clients Web site templates from Template Monster’s collection using their own brand names.
“We are glad to introduce our affiliate program to Hostgator resellers,” says Gary Nichols head of marketing department at Template Monster. “We have many successful affiliates among hosting companies and hope that Hostgator resellers will also like our products and our affiliate program.”
The templates are available to any of the Hostgator resellers. They can be downloaded by registering with the Template Monster affiliate program. The registration process is free and takes only a few minutes to complete.

Hostgator Review by lbGURU – now stability is taking a dive
Reviewed on May 24th, 2006 Find moreI have been a customer here at Hostgator for awhile now and even though they offer great service their server stability is starting to go down the drain. As a reseller we provide the same SLA to our clients and we are not able to provide them reliable service because of the sporadic 3-5 minutes of downtime every other day.
I have to not reccommend Hostgators services as they seem to be growing to big for their boots.
